The things you see on Dickinson Walk…I know it’s a little creepy to be taking pictures of people out your window, but yesterday, as a long line of cardboard purses, owls, can-openers, and Gameboys grew legs and passed by my room, I just had to grab my camera. These artworks (created by the Fundamentals of Sculpture and 3D Design class) were on display in the library for the past few weeks, and I guess they were making their way home to the Goodyear Studio!

Here’s one of my favorite “Dickinson traditions” - PALCI. Dickinson has a great library with almost everything you need to research. But, like anywhere, we don’t stock everything, so we have PALCI. You request books from any of a bunch of PA, NY, and NJ libraries and you pick up your book in just a few days! I’ve always gotten a nerdy satisfaction when I unwrap my PALCI books. -Andrew

I had a great Dickinson library moment today! While discussing the possibility of skipping class/leaving work today with one of the librarians, I told her of my life-long dream of skeet shooting.  So she took down my name and a couple of hours later emailed me all the information she had on skeet shooting in the area. AMAZING!

At the library officially for the first time this semester! Sitting with my good friend Josh Handelsman ‘12 as he studies for the LSAT. Meanwhile, I am about to crack open my book for my senior seminar on Human Consciousness, Synaptic Self: How Our Brains Become Who We Are. I realize the nerd in me is showing, but I kind of can’t wait!
